#7 – Best Family Moment – Our family trip to Italy and Switzerland this summer. We traveled internationally for the first time this year taking our 3 kids to Europe and it was truly the most magical 3 weeks of my life.
#8 – My favorite Art I Made in 2024 were 2 paintings for a show I had in September at Peep Space in Tarrytown, NY – shout out to Monica Currier for curating! And secondly the 3 hand quilted flags I made in collaboration for a project with 3 dear art friends Cassie Arnold, Lisa Alberts and Stefanie Zito… You can check out that project and their work

#9 – My favorite Artist Mother Moment of the Year – our exhibition at Artlink in Fort Wayne, IN titled “The One and the Many”. My 8 year old and 12 year old really shined with their excitement for me and it just made my heart so happy as an artist/mother.

Those are my 12 random superlatives for 2024… art related reflections. I hope this list inspires you to consider pausing and reflecting on some similar themes this year.
