3: Wearing all the hats! Juggling life as an artist and homeschooling mother of four with Adrienne Brown David

Adrienne Brown-David is a multi-disciplinary artist living in Water Valley, MS with her husband and 4 children. Her most recent work is varied and includes oil paintings with dreamy landscapes and figures, stitching as well as colored pencil and ink drawings of local birds. Along with Oxford, MS, Adrienne has also exhibited work in galleries across the US Virgin Islands where she once lived.

On this episode I talk with Adrienne about wearing alllll the hats! She’s a homeschooling Mom of 4 daughters and her life is busy but she shares how she makes it work and has gradually made more time for her art over the years. She discusses her path into gallery shows and what it’s like to be an artist in a small city. Adrienne explains more about her oil paintings which depict her daughters standing in rural southern scenes, enjoying nature and the outdoors.

Please check out Adrienne’s website (https://www.adriennebrown-david.com) and instagram for more of her work. It was such a pleasure speaking this inspiring and crazy talented artist and I know you are going to love this episode!
