44: Merging identities- a panel of 5 Artist Parent Academics at SECAC 2019
/

We recorded another live panel and amazing discussion to share on the podcast, this time at SECAC art conference in Chattanooga, TN! I welcomed artists Colleen Merrill, Maria Velasco, Tracy Stonestreet, Kristin Skees and Tiffany Leach. All of these women are artists and mothers while also teaching as academics and professors at universities. They wear many hats and we share a lively conversation about their range of responsibilities and the joys and challenges they face with such busy lives.

See more from each artist by checking out their websites and IG links below:

This conversation was inspired by the work of Lauren Frances Evans and her community Artist Parent Academic. Lauren was interviewed back on episode 22, check it out if you don’t know her work!
