During this episode of the Artist/Mother podcast I speak with Robin Kenny, A/M Administrator! We talk about the experience of her time in our first Crit Group Program (Spring program launches 3/17) and she recaps her experience working with mentor Karen Dana. Secondly, we talk thoroughly about our first Artist/Mother exhibition…Painting At Night! Robin and I share the process we went through to get this show together, all the work that went into it and a few trails we had along the way. I am SO immensely proud of our community for coming together and making this exhibition happen. To all the artists who applied…I hope you know your work is valuable and I see you! To all the artists who were accepted into the exhibition at Fort Houston (Nashville, TN) or our online exhibition, congrats! It was such a pleasure to work with you more directly.
Special thanks to our juror Allison Reimus for all the incredible work she did picking what went into the show. I know it was such a hard job!!
The show is up through March 28th at Fort Houston in Nashville, TN. So please stop by and see it if you are in the area. Everyone, check out the online portion of the exhibition!! The work is so wonderful.
A catalogue from this exhibition including images of the work from Fort Houston will be available soon.
